Pray with Me: When Anxiety Makes the Day Feel Heavy
A gentle one-minute prayer for anxious hearts, asking Jesus for peace and grace to take the next small step.

Today’s intention: anxiety
This Friday, 16 October, we pray for everyone carrying worries they cannot easily put into words: an unanswered message, an approaching bill, a difficult appointment, or a fear that returns at night.
You do not have to become calm before you come to God. Come as you are. If it helps, pause, take a gentle breath, and pray slowly.
Pray with me
Lord Jesus, You know what is weighing on my heart today. You see the thoughts that race ahead and the worries I struggle to set down.
Help me to meet this moment with You, rather than trying to solve tomorrow all at once. Give me light for the next small step, and patience with what remains uncertain.
When I need support, give me courage to ask. Bless those who listen, care, and help me heal. Remind me that receiving help is not a failure of faith.
Hold those whose anxiety feels overwhelming today. May they find compassionate care and steady companionship. Let Your love sustain us, even when peace feels far away.
Jesus, I place this day in Your hands. Amen.
One small step
Choose one manageable task, or speak honestly to someone you trust. You do not have to carry today alone.
