Pray with Me: When Anxiety Makes the Day Feel Heavy
A one-minute Catholic prayer for anxious moments, asking Jesus for peace, courage and grace for the next small step.

When the next step feels difficult
This Friday, 30 October 2026, let us pray for anyone carrying anxiety: the unanswered message, the unexpected bill, the appointment ahead, or the worry that returns in the quiet.
You do not have to feel calm before you come to God. Take a gentle breath, if that feels comfortable, and bring Him what is real.
Pray with me
Lord Jesus, You know the thoughts that keep circling and the fears I struggle to put into words. I bring You this day as it is, not as I wish it were.
Help me to notice what needs my attention now and what I can leave until later. Give me courage for the next small step, and humility to ask for help when I need it.
Bless those whose anxiety makes ordinary tasks difficult. Guide them towards patient care and understanding. Remind us that needing support is not a failure of faith.
When peace feels far away, keep me close to You. Let Your grace sustain me, one moment at a time. Amen.
You need not carry everything alone today.
