Pray with Me: When Anxiety Fills the Day
A one-minute prayer for anxious moments, entrusting today’s worries and the next small step to Jesus.

Thursday, 22 October 2026
Anxiety can arrive before the day has properly begun: a tight chest, an unanswered message, a worry that keeps returning. We do not have to find perfect words before turning to God.
Take a gentle breath, if that feels comfortable, and pray with me.
A one-minute prayer
Lord Jesus, You know what is troubling me today, including the fears I cannot explain.
I bring You the conversation I am dreading, the uncertainty I cannot resolve, and the things beyond my control.
Help me to stay with this moment rather than live through tomorrow’s troubles in advance. Give me light for the next small step, and patience when peace comes slowly.
When my thoughts race, remind me that Your love does not depend on how calm I feel. Give me courage to ask for support and to receive the care I need.
Bless everyone carrying anxiety quietly today. May they find kindness, understanding, and a safe place to speak.
I place this day in Your hands. Walk with me through it.
Amen.
A small intention for today
Choose one manageable task, and let that be enough for this moment. Seeking help from a trusted person or health professional can be an act of courage, not a failure of faith.
You do not have to carry today alone.
